Discover What's in the Old Testament

After reviewing the books of the Old Testament, students will have the opportunity to put their newfound knowledge into action. In this lesson, students look in the Bible to find verses that have been selected to provide an overview of Old Testament Scripture.

Look in the Book:  
Students will read John 9, 10, and 11. Stories and topics include: Jesus heals the blind man, Jesus gives the parable of the Good Shepherd, Jesus brings Lazarus back to life, and others plot to kill Jesus.

Discover It Daily:  
Students reinforce what they learned through the lesson as they find and read: the chapter in Proverbs that coordinates with the day of the month, Psalm 23, Psalm 100, Lamentations 3:20-26, and Ezekiel 37:1-14. They practice saying the names of the books of the Old Testament.
