In this lesson, students look in the Bible to see for themselves what it says about Jesus, faith, and forgiveness.

·         Who is Jesus?

·         What did the people who knew Jesus say about Him?

·         What did Jesus say about Himself?

·         What did non-biblical sources say about Jesus?

·         What did God say about Jesus?

•  Is Jesus the only way to heaven? What does the Bible say?
•  What is faith and how does one take that step?
•  How can you experience the forgiveness and eternity in heaven God offers?
•  How can you know you have a future full of faith and forgiveness?

 
Look in the Book:  
Students will finish the Gospel of John as they read the good news of chapters 20 and 21. They read of the eyewitness accounts of Mary, the disciples, and Thomas as they learned of Jesus’ resurrection.

Discover it Daily:  
Students read about people in the Bible who were seeking the truth about Jesus: Nicodemus, Philip and the Ethiopian, Saul, Paul, Silas, and the jailer, and Thomas.
